Japanese Film Festival (JFF) 2026 in Jakarta is officially scheduled to take place on12 to 15 November 2026, atCGV Grand Indonesia. Organized byThe Japan Foundation, Jakarta, this most anticipated event is part of a 9-city tour across Indonesia celebrating the best of both contemporary and classic Japanese cinema.

The initial lineup features a diverse selection of the latest dramas, animation, and beautifully restored classic films:

Hula Girls (4K Remastered):Directed by Lee Sang-il, a heartwarming drama about a mining town struggling to find hope through dance.

Chimney Town: Frozen in Time:An exciting animated adventure that takes audiences into a fantasy world full of mystery.

Bring Him Down to A Portable Size:A captivating drama directed by Ryota Nakano.

Throne of Blood:A timeless classic masterpiece directed by Akira Kurosawa.
