Trinity Youth Symphony Orchestra, commonly known as TRUST Orchestra, is a prominent Indonesian community youth orchestra founded in 2013 under the Trinity Optima Production label. Led by Music Director and Resident Conductor Nathania Karina, the ensemble has built a strong reputation for dismantling the stigma that orchestral music is old-fashioned, formal, or elitist.
By rebranding itself as an "Orchestra for Everyone", TRUST targets millennials and Gen-Z audiences by reimagining popular culture through a symphonic lens. They are highly celebrated for their The Legends concert series, featuring soundtracks from iconic pop culture franchises such as Studio Ghibli, Makoto Shinkai films, Disney, Harry Potter, and K-Pop. Alongside pop culture, they heavily focus on cultural preservation by performing modern orchestral arrangements of Indonesian traditional and folk music globally.
Key Achievements & Milestones
International Recognition: Won a Gold Medal, the Outstanding Conductor Award for Nathania Karina, and the Johann Strauss Award at the World Orchestra Festival in Vienna (2025). They also earned the Exemplary Orchestra Award at the International Youth Orchestra Art Week 2026 in Beijing, China.
Prestigious Nominations: Earned a nomination at the Anugerah Musik Indonesia (AMI) Awards 2026 for Best Orchestral Work (Karya Orkestral Terbaik) with their medley of "Cublak-Cublak Suweng/Manuk Dadali". Their track "Harta Berharga" was also nominated for an AMI Award in 2022.
Global Performances: Toured internationally with shows like the Brit Tour 2024: Echoes from the Archipelago in the UK, as well as diplomatic cultural concerts in Prague and Beijing.
Current & Upcoming Projects
Into the New World: Their next major project is a symphonic reimagining of K-Pop, scheduled to play from 7–8 November 2026 at the Ciputra Artpreneur theater in Jakarta.
The Legends Infinity: They recently wrapped up a highly successful series on September 5–6, 2026, celebrating the soundscapes of Studio Ghibli and Makoto Shinkai.
