The Bakuucakar is an Indonesian band formed in 2008 that famously served as the dedicated backing band for the legendary R&B singer Glenn Fredly. For over 12 years, they accompanied Glenn across countless live performances and studio sessions. Following Glenn Fredly's passing in 2020, the band decided to continue their musical journey together, evolving from a backing unit into an independent entity with their own distinct identity.

Transition to Independent Work: In 2021, under the labels Musik Bagus Indonesia and Bumi Entertainment, they launched their independent career with their debut singles "Bakuucakar" and "Love".
Debut Album: They released their first full-length studio album titled Reformula on July 20, 2022, signaling a fresh blueprint for their musical expression.
The Vault of Glenn Fredly: They have kept Glenn's legacy alive through special collaborative projects and tribute performances, re-recording iconic tracks with modern Indonesian vocalists such as Hanin Dhiya ("Kembali Ke Awal"), Paul Partohap ("Terserah"), Andmesh ("Kisah Yang Salah"), and Anneth ("Januari").
Live Performances: The band continues to tour and perform live tribute concepts titled Glenn Fredly Live by The Bakuucakar.
