Formation and Style
Arina and Riko first met as college students at the National Institute of Technology (ITENAS) in Bandung, originally playing in a university band. Wanting to write original material that their former bandmates didn't favor, they broke away and recruited Indra and Toma to complete the quartet.
Mocca's music heavily features storytelling concepts and English lyrics. This lyrical choice allowed them to naturally build a global audience early on through platforms like MySpace.
